Best Home Furnishing is seeking a qualified individual for a NIGHTSHIFT Fabric Warehouse position.

Job Title: Fabric Warehouse Associate
Reports to: Cutting Supervisor

Essential functions of the job include the following:

• Uploading fabric rolls from various suppliers
• Entering the fabric into our computerized inventory system
• Generating and attaching bar code tags onto the fabric rolls
• Placing the rolls on the correct storage shelf
• Identifying the correct fabric rolls to be pulled for the day’s production schedule
• Use a handheld computerized scanning device when pulling the fabric rolls
• Transporting the pulled fabric to the fabric cutting department
• Returning the roll and noting the yardage used on the bar code tags
• Other duties as assigned

Job requirements: 

• Repetitive pulling, pinching and gripping with both hands
• Transport product on & off work bench
• Maintain consistent work pace. 
• Safely operate forklifts and hand transfers 
• Able to work scheduled hours on a regular basis, which could include overtime
• Ability to work within a team
• Adhere to quality standards and safety practices as defined in the work instructions. 
• Lifting weight:  120 lbs. - maximum;  80 lbs. – frequent
   

Education or experience required: High school or equivalent

Schedule:

• Night Shift
• 8 hour shift
• 4:30pm-3:30am
• Monday-Thursday
• Weekends as needed
• Overtime as needed
