Best Home Furnishings is currently seeking a qualified bilingual individual to join our Human Resources team as a Talent Recruiter. 

Title: Talent Recruiter
Reports to: HR Manager


Primary Objectives of the Talent Recruiter:

  • Implement recruiting strategies in support of organizational staffing objectives.
  • Apply a strong focus on hiring the best possible talent to reduce new hire turnover.
  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees.
  • Assist in with high school & college recruiting initiatives.
  • Perform administrative duties and recordkeeping.

Job Duties to Include, but not limited to the following:

  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
  • Updates job descriptions and determines applicant requirements based on job description and job qualifications.
  • Assists in attracting applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites.
  • Offers ideas on recruiting efforts and other areas to ensure Best HF remains competitive as an employer of choice.
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Keeps apprised of rules and regulations in the HR field.
  • Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
  • Avoids legal challenges by understanding current hiring legislation.
  • Prepares new hire orientation packets and notifications.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-4 year relevant experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Possess excellent communication skills & strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience in Social Media & all avenues for recruiting
  • Have strong interviewing skills, people skills
  • Supports diversity
  • Employment Law
  • Results driven, highly motivated with an understanding of the urgency in filling positions with quality hire
  • Professionalism, Organization, Project Management, Judgment, Confidentiality
  • Marketing background is a plus

Education or experience required: High school or equivalent, Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a must. 

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday
  • 8am-4:30pm
