Job Title: Automated Cutting Department Associate (Z-1 Single Ply Cutter)

Reports to:  Cutting Supervisor

Summary: Load material into automated roll feeder; line up material on cutting surface in preparation for cutting. Operate automated cutting machine to cut fabric by finding cutting patterns in cutting software. Also off bear the cutting machine, sort, and stack material in the correct order.

Job requirements: 

• Repetitive pulling, pinching and gripping with both hands
• Maintain consistent work pace
• Must be able to recognize defective fabric or inconsistency in the fabric & distinguish color variations
• Able to work scheduled hours on a regular basis, which could include overtime
• Ability to work within a team
• Adhere to quality standards and safety practices as defined in the work instructions
• Possess willingness to cross-train on other jobs or lines as production dictates
• Lifting weight:  60 lbs maximum       20 - 30 lbs frequent

Education or experience required:      High school or equivalent
