Best Home Furnishing is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in a Packing/Mechanisms Position.
Job Title: Pack/Mech
Reports to: Pack/Mech Supervisor
Our Packing and Mechanism Associates work in a fast paced, high volume, group incentive, manufacturing environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pack and/or assemble units on a moving production line according to the work instructions using automatic tape machine, staple & screwdriver guns, and floor dollies to accomplish tasks.
- Maintain consistent work pace
- Good hand / eye coordination
- Able to work schedule hours on a regular basis; teamwork; adhere to quality standards and safety practices
- Good communication skills to function in team environment
- Strong math skills a plus.
- Lifting weight: 60-75lbs. maximum; 60-75 lbs frequent
- All other tasks as assigned

- Able to work within a team
- adhere to quality standards and safety practices as defined in the work instructions
- Repetitive use of the upper body
- Possess willingness to cross-train on other jobs as production dictates
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
Education or experience required: High school or equivalent

Schedule:
- 8 hours
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
- Overtime as needed
